Just a couple questions: Why don't I see my newly submitted memes listed in the Latest list? Or do they have to be Featured to make it to the Latest list? If not, how do others see it to vote/comment on it so it can get Feature? Thanks in advance. :)

I believe the memes have to go through the mods before they go to the 'latest' page. Most memes make it past submission, but some of them do not.

Your memes go through a submission phase (Normally about 2 hours, unless you upload your own image, in which case it's an original template and takes longer to feature) and if they make it through, which they almost always will, they end up on the "latest" stream. After that, people will see them there and upvote and comment on them. If you get enough upvotes you might make it to the front page!

You are close with your guess. :) There was a TV program that debuted in 1964 (before I was born) called "Flipper." It was about a boy and his pet dolphin named Flipper. The reruns ran for several years. I remember watching it.
