You know I was reading an article the other day, talking about how when we face a terrorist attack these days, we post a drawing of a broken heart or the statue of liberty crying; Which is all well and good, but I think we are replacing real courage and sympathy with emojis, memes, and FB banners. I understand that we can't go and fight ISIS ourselves, but it made an interesting point; We tend to make a meme or use a dramatic picture of an American flag when one of these things happens as a way to pat ourselves on the back for our patriotism.
