He wanted to give awards to Americans born here... in protest against the Medals of Liberty Awards, which were given to naturalized immigrants. (And which I would say is 100% on brand for trump.)

I think as far back as 2020 I said that Joe Biden, trump and many others in our government are older than dirt and older than I would say is ideal to be president.

And I acknowledged my ageism in saying that. But... I also understand we all will get old. Probably will fall down. And flub words. If something else doesn't kill us first.

Anyway both trump and Biden are not ideal but given the choice I would have chosen an aging Joe Biden over an aging trump.
