Democrats wouldn't know a thriving economy if it came right up and bit them. They haven't the slightest clue about how the economy works or does not work. The last Democrat that ever improved the economy was JFK. And he did it by lowering taxes. Before him it was Thomas Jefferson. All of the rest, especially in the 20th century don't have the mental capacity to even tie their own shoes when it comes to the economy (and everything else).
Please explain to me WHY trickle down didn't work. Use your own words, not the talking head on the TV's words. And please explain to me how we didn't have one of the largest economic growths in our nation's history under Reagan?
Seriously? Do Democrats even know what a good economy is? Obama nearly killed the economy and then he told us that we have to get used to the "new normal". Then Trump got elected and made Obama look like an idiot. You cannot wreck the economy and then comfort people by saying, well that is just the way it is, get used to it. It was NOT the new normal. There is no such thing as a normal in the economy. It is constantly changing because consumers drive the economy, NOT the government. Governments only get in the way of the economy.
And the most amazing part is that Trump didn't do anything to improve the economy. He did give us a pathetic tax cut but that was not the cause of his thriving economy. He was never able to get his tariffs implemented, because that would have weakened the economy.
What caused it was Hillary losing. Businesses all across America breathed a massive sigh of relief and started to re-invest in their companies. They felt safe for the first time since Reagan. With that re-investment came a flood of new jobs.
Then COVID hit. Democrats everywhere were enforcing Unconstitutional and illegal lockdowns of businesses everywhere. That killed the economy and now those same Democrats are putting all of the blame on Trump. Trump didn't lock down anything, that was all the Democrats and a very small handful of idiot Republicans.
