I think you would want that if you were ever charged with a crime you said you did not commit and the prosecutors sat on videos that could possibly exonerate you in the eyes of a jury.

It proves that you are lousy at law enforcement if arrest someone you believe to be in the act of insurrection, handcuff them, walk them to the door, take off the cuffs, high five them, and let them walk away.

Unless, he was an actor.

Not like Hollywood, but a federal agent/asset, arrested for show, in order to rile up the mostly peaceful demonstrators.
