First, I'd like to point out that if you want to be taken seriously, placing sole blame on BLM and ANTIFA for "Burning Cities" (which no city was burned to the ground) is utter nonsense. You're suffering from a propaganda campaign pushed from the right to demonize two very valuable and important movements in this country. What's concerning is that no one from the right wing acknowledges the accelerationists or right-wing terrorists who used the BLM protests to hijack the movement and create civil disorder. Never once have I heard a right-winger willfully volunteer that perspective.
Further, as the arrest records came in, it was found that the majority of those arrested for propertey damage, looting, etc., weren't associated with BLM or ANTIFA at all. In fact, there are more instances of White Supremacist actions and police instigating the riots than actual BLM/ANTIFA protests.
Yeah, I believe in equity. I don't consider it equal representation when you have 10 applicants, one of them is black. How many times will he get picked if his application to a job is equal to all others? It'll be nine applicants before he's garunteed a job, statistically. To the sentiment of equality, this isn't equal. Just as the electoral vote is not equal. With regards to the US Senate, a voter in Wyoming has more weight than a voter in California because of population density. However, to ensure that equality is assured, we have the House of Representatives, leaving Wyoming an afterthought as far as the electoral college goes.
So, the question then becomes how do you apply equity and equality for minorities?
If the average white family has more cashflow than a black family, the white family can out-populate the black family as they have the resources to do so, leaving the black community to have lesser and lesser a chance at getting anywhere since the competition is so high among their non-black peers.
