I realized that a few months after he was in office, and I didn't like him before then.
I originally thought he was a Democrat who came to sabotage the party, but when he started fighting Hillary, I was cured of that thought. Then I wanted him to be president just because I couldn't stand another Clinton in office, but I honestly had no idea if he'd be good or bad (whereas I thought Hillary was an automatic disaster). But a few months later, I realized he was the real deal, and that he wouldn't kowtow to the media, while seeing them just downright lie about him (why wouldn't they, he was the closest thing we've had to Reagan, and they hated him too).
