lol That's pretty bad. So far we've only had wind and a little rain here in the upstate, but the eye won't hit here for quite a while yet. It's crossing the state real slow. Chad said they are getting a lot of rain and wind in Columbia, but were ok so far.

Originally I thought it was going cover the whole state of South Carolina, it's mostly North Carolina as of this posting. It's still half of your state. Wind is definitely the biggest problem. When hurricane Ike hit Texas, it made it to Cincinnati. We had high winds that took off 75% of our barn roof. Plus, a lot of down trees. We are going to get some of Florence's outer bands of rain on Monday. I'm glad all you guys are doing alright. It's nice having updates. :)

You could tell hes was faking high wind even if the people had not walked into the frame.

In the whole video, it was a closer up shot with it backing away. So yeah, he was faking big time.

Fake news is never good, but I get why it is tempting for news orgs wanting to present a staged political position. What I'll never understand is reporters exaggerating the weather. Viewers want to see what we can reasonably expect, not theatrics. Thanks for posting!
