Probably not... which effectively means that whoever comes after on the GOP side is gonna have to be equal to or out-sh!tbag him... ...which means that pretty much any halfway-decent candidate the Democrats put forward is almost guaranteed to take the Oval Office. National Guard assistance on January 6th?"; "Why didn't Nancy Pelosi order deployment of the D.C. National Guard?"; "Why didn't Nancy Pelosi order more Capitol Police onto the scene?"; It's actually quite simple and readily discoverable by anyone who's truly interested in knowing the why of the thing... It's because she doesn't have the authority. Of course, were they better versed in Civics, this segment of the GOP would be aware that the Speaker of the House has no power to accept or refuse D.C. National Guard intervention or order the D.C. National Guard deployed, that authority to command the D.C. National Guard is vested in the POTUS and, via delegation, the Secretary of Defense and, in cases of disability or -as the entire world witnessed on January 6, 2020- gross dereliction of duty, the VPOTUS. They would be aware that the US Capitol Police are under the direction of the Capitol Police Board -which does not answer to the Speaker of the House. Perhaps, should they see this meme, some number of them will wake up and realize how thoroughly they've been and are being played by their cult leader, his mouthpieces and enablers.
