Well, well,welly-well... What happened to your rule of not responding to people who routinely turn off comments?
"Breaking my rule this one time I will say that I don't respond to people who routinely disable comments for their memes."
That was just a few days ago. You uh... you do remember saying that, don't you, C.H.?
Anyway, thanks for making it about "easily proven reality," predictably trotting out the "b-b-b-but Nancy Pelosi" bullshit talking point again. Now, let's look at what federal law says about who's responsible for the deployment of the D.C. National Guard.
10 U.S.C. §12406.4 National Guard in Federal service:
-the President may call into Federal service members and units of the National Guard of any State in such numbers as he considers necessary to repel the invasion, suppress the rebellion, or execute those laws. Orders for these purposes shall be issued through the governors of the States or, in the case of the District of Columbia, through the commanding general of the National Guard of the District of Columbia.
Sooo, C.H.... how about pointing out for everyone the place in the law where it says it's the House Speaker's call as to whether or not the National Guard is deployed in response to a problem, where it says Dear Leader was required to go crawling like a subservient li'l bitch, begging for permission rather than it being completely on him, his call, solely his responsibility, his obligation to act according to the conditions of the day?
Don't be shy; show everyone. I mean... the crux of the "but Nancy Pelosi," not-Dear-Leader's-fault, 1/6 denialists' blame-shifting cop-out is what the "easily proven reality" of federal law says, right? Let's have it.
