Mostly cuz it's of little interest to anyone who doesn't study it specifically. A moonquake doesn't threaten human lives like an earthquake does, not a great news story. The Apollo 11 Wikipedia article talks about the seismic equipment and geologic work done.

I've been in favor of ditching all the backwards states for years. The only truth behind "wealth redistribution" myth is that the poor republican states are propped up by the taxes from the income-generating liberal states. Divide the country and let the republicans rot in their own poverty.
