Most people hated this change because they were used to the old homepage and they weren't comfortable with how the new homepage looks. Personally, I don't really mind the change. I think the homepage looks fine. The only problems I have with it are the streams are all the way at the bottom, and there's no option to change it to the old homepage (you're stuck with it forever).
