A December 2008 article from CARM.org gives the perfect description of Mary Baker Eddy’s self-proclaimed “most important work” that is Christian Science’s ultimate authority for faith and practice (instead of the Bible):; “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, which is the Christian Scientist’s mainstay of spiritual knowledge, reads with a rhythm of pseudo-logical statements that has the tendency to dull the senses when read long enough.” Even without relying on the fact that God created everything around us, our senses easily verify that the matter we encounter is real. Unfortunately, those duped into thinking sin, sickness, and death are illusions end up missing the God-provided means of salvation, which is just what Satan wants, more people ending up with him in the Lake of Fire.
