Well howdy, Trump-cult kids, it's Socialism again and today's topic is "x"-washing. | Generally speaking, it refers to a PR process whereby public figures, corporations, nations are over- compensatively, aggressively portrayed typically in a favorable, often polar opposite, light as means of covering, camouflaging some offensive aspect of their personality, operational policies, human rights abuses and whatnot. Corporations, nations engaged, still engage in green- and/or sports-washing, star-washing to improve their palatability. Prior to shifts toward social acceptance of the LGBTQ community, the music industry, Hollywood both engaged in straight-washing various musicians, actors to protect their public image, ensure their commercial viability. Keeping that in mind, think back to the crazy conspiracy theories being pushed by Q-anon, various other weirdos on 4-chan about Dear Leader being at the fore of a secret anti-child- trafficking, pedophile-hunting crusade. Also, if you recall, when asked about releasing the Epstein files, your boy started to sketch out, make excuses about "ruining people's lives." You know... the same guy who goes on social media on a regular basis and tries to ruin people's lives, whip his pet MAGA crazies into irl attacking his political opponents...
