![I know... TLDR. Sorry about that; Navarro tends to use a lot of words when he's saying something blisteringly idiotic. | "I go into the White House in 2017. For three years I helped the President create hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs during the pandemic. Every one of you here... every one of you here use masks, gloves, thermometers, many of you got vaccinated, many of you use thing like Remdesivir or monoclonal antibodies --I helped do that. I did. I get a House of Representatives controlled by Nancy Pelosi trying to put me in prison. Why? Because I'm a Trump guy."; -Peter Navarro crying about being convicted for contempt of Congress, attempting to frame it as a political vendetta even though the subpoena was issued February 2022, he tried to claim "executive; privilege", his claim was found to be without merit and he knowingly, willfully ignored the subpoena anyway. In short, he made his bed and now he's kvetching about having to sleep in it. Sooooo... let's ignore the whiny, "poor me" nature of Navarro's post-verdict presser for the moment; ask yourselves why he would sideways imply he shouldn't have been convicted for contempt of; Congress over ignoring a congressional subpoena because of the work he did during the COVID crisis? I mean... that's kinda like taking the position that you shouldn't be punished for robbing a store because you; threw some change in the Salvation Army's collection kettle on the way in. And another thing [which isn't included in the quote but did, in fact, come out of Navarro's mouth on camera (no joke, look that s--- up)] -did you find it at all strange he described himself, his position of Senior White House; Advisor as an "alter-ego of the President"?
