CAN WE ACHIEVE PERFECT HEALTH?
[5 of 6] Contrary to the Bible, Word of Faith preacher, Frederick Price, says this: "How can you glorify God...when your body doesn't even work? What makes you think the Holy Ghost wants to live inside of a body where He can't see through the windows and He can't hear with the ears; where the limbs and organs and cells do not function right?”
What Price just said puts a stake in the heart of every person who has ever gotten a disease, been confined to a wheelchair, or had body parts that didn't work. Again, it's the same Hinduism mindset where Word of Faith followers donate money to get the trinkets and then use them to perform the guru's techniques, chanting the prescribed mantras. Then when the devotee remains in their wheelchair, what response do they get from their American guru? The false teacher actually has the audacity to say something like, "Well, you must be hiding some secret." or "You just don't have enough faith.” It’s easy to see why Peter said, “Their condemnation has long been hanging
over them and their destruction has not been sleeping.” | image tagged in health, healing, god, bible, hindu | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

HEALTH & WEALTH PREACHING
The Church of God, for one, claims Christ's atonement provides physical healing for everyone. Who does that sound like? It’s a root of the Charismatic Movement that eventually came to be the Word of Faith Movement. According to the latter, if we just have enough faith, we’ll have perfect health and receive wealth.
Unfortunately though, the people getting rich in that movement are the ones requesting donations that supposedly show the followers’ level of faith. They say the greater the check, the more the follower’s faith. And those requesting the cash don’t normally seem to have the perfect health they promise to donors.
While the perfect health and wealth preaching is untrue, it is true that God can heal. I’ve seen it and even experienced it personally. But that does not mean God always heals us. We see that in the Scriptures: The Apostle Paul experienced serious illness. Did he not have enough faith? He must not have "sown seeds" into a health
and wealth preacher's ministry, right? Is that why Paul was not in perfect health? No!Also, Philippians two says Paul's co-worker for Christ, Epaphroditus, nearly worked himself to death. And Timothy, Paul's spiritual son, was often sick. Did Paul recommend more faith for those two so they could to be as healthy as they’d like? No. In fact, for Timothy’s medicinal issue, Paul recommended certain liquids, which might help as opposed to water only. Good thing Timothy had the right teacher. It’s the same one we can access every day in the Bible--no donations required. | image tagged in church, bible, god, health, wealth, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
