DAY 6: AGAINST WHAT DO WE TEST EVERY CLAIM OF TRUTH? Scripture instructs us to test everything we are told to ensure that it is godly and not from Satan. How do we know something is from God? Because what he says is always true. God is always holy. That means He is without sin and never gets anything wrong. You may not like what He does or demands of you, but He never does anything wrong. Though you may not understand what He is doing, trust that He works all things together
for our good, because He is good and does not lie. But Satan is the father of all lies. So, always compare God’s Word with whatever comes from any person’s mouth; if it doesn’t jibe with God’s Word, toss out every part of it that is not from God! People today are not doing that, and Scripture tells us that it is because the god of this world, Lucifer, is blinding people’s minds, so they won't believe. How does he do that? What is his top tool? The devil gets men and
women away from the one source of truth—the Bible.
Whatever is presented as truth must always
be compared to the Scriptures to see if it is true. | image tagged in jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DAY 17: IS YOUR CHURCH PRACTICING HINDUISM? [1 of 2] When I was first saved out of the New Age movement, I went directly into Bible college and what I considered to be the Christian “Church world.” Of course, being new to Christianity, I found it easy to join fringe groups and not recognize them as such. I started attending different Church services and reading the Bible. At one point I ended up at a livelier congregation, and upon familiarizing myself with what they were doing, skeptical questions began entering my mind about their supposedly Christian faith practices. Those thoughts went something like: “Wait a second, are you saying that enough faith will allow me to determine my own reality, magically being able to receive a new car, a house, or whatever
I want?” The congregation turned out to be involved with the “Word
of Faith” movement, which might as well be called “New Age,”
and both are just forms of old-fashioned Hinduism. | image tagged in jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DAY 16: HAS TRANSLATION SOFTWARE
BROUGHT US BACK TO THE TOWER OF BABEL?In many ways, translation software has helped spread the message of Jesus. That said, Genesis 11:1 tells us that “the whole [ancient] world had one language and a common speech.” Is that being repeated today? We at Sunrise Bible Church and Get A Life Ministries (GetALifeMedia.com) get emails from all over the world, some causing me to squint my eyes and try to figure out the language. One message might look like it came from a Russian-speaking nation, while another resembles Spanish, though the spelling is so strange it may be Portuguese. Either way, these days all we have to do is easily cut and paste the sentence
into some translation website and we get instant readability. So, our language barriers are going away and mankind is again becoming united in our communications. This time it is in preparation for another of man’s major rebellions against their Creator, just like what happened with the Babylonians that God judged at their Tower of Babel. Who do you think will lead this future rebellion involving a one-world government and one-world religion? Of course, it will be considered a leap for mankind, an ascension of man, a new light in the world. But after a false peace for a few years, this collective of nations will turn out to be led by a man disguised
as benevolent, until he shows himself to be Satan’s murderous
deceiver—the Antichrist. And the one-world religious leader he
uses and then destroys will be the complicit False Prophet. | image tagged in jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DAY 15: WHAT ARE THE ORIGINS OF THE “WORD OF FAITH” MOVEMENT? [3 of 3] Seymour had no biblical education because his teacher, Parham, had little, just as Parham’s teachers, Dowie and Sandford, had little to none. Besides them, the New Thought founder (and root of the Word of Faith movement), Phineas Quimby, had none. This meant his trainees, Mary Baker Eddy (Christian Science founder) and Warren Felt Evans, were also lacking biblical training. On top of that and going forward in time, Aimee Semple McPherson, who most Pentecostal and Word of Faith denominations come from, also lacked a biblical education. When you trace the history of the Word of Faith movement, here are their origins (and modern results tell us this): WOF was basically founded by biblically UNTRAINED leaders. They were not students of the Bible. Instead, they learned from PAGANS and CULTS. Still, even
with that non-biblical foundation, today they claim to be extra-spiritual, even more spiritual than other Christians. In fact, they say the rest of us suffer because we are missing out on their teachings. Besides the false teachings, in this way too, they create
division in the Church. Why do they do so? It’s because they are pushing
false teachings that most followers do not recognize as repackaged
Hinduism. With only a name change to “Word of Faith” teachers, our
Christian Church today has carbon copies of Hinduism’s leaders.
I believe WOF teachers are just modern-day Hindu gurus. | image tagged in jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DAY 14: WHAT ARE THE ORIGINS OF THE “WORD OF FAITH” MOVEMENT? [2 of 3] One founder was William Seymour, a student of Charles Parham, and the creator of the Azusa Street Mission in 1906. Those present at the time described absolute chaos, and everyone wanting to preach—most did. Were any speakers vetted to see if they were even Christians? Did anyone ask for a testimony to see if those teaching the crowd were even saved through Jesus? No, and no. Even some local witches and sorcerers preached. At least Seymour realized they were occult people and stopped them from preaching, but those occult followers continued to attend and practice their weird worship—of who? Also strange for a church service were reports of kissing between unmarried persons. One of those who did not preach was Seymour, who just sat with his head in a crate; from
time to time he shouted, “Repent!” | image tagged in jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
