DO OUR EFFORTS PRODUCE SALVATION OR ARE THEY EVIDENCE OF IT? [1 of 2] Warning, God’s graphic language: Our efforts (works) do not produce salvation; instead, they are evidence of it. Let me illustrate that idea with the original Hebrew definition, but I will warn you that God is being graphic here about how our works, to try achieving salvation for ourselves, greatly offend His holiness. The Hebrew term “filthy rags” is quite strong. The word “filthy” is a translation of the Hebrew word “iddah,” which literally means “the bodily fluids from a woman's menstrual cycle.” And we know what rags are, so this description of bloody rags refers to every cult and religion that prescribes works to make it to heaven, which includes every faith outside biblical Christianity—yes, every single one—because
they all claim their followers have to earn there way to that faith’s
good afterlife. This often includes volunteer work done for the organization, like recruiting new members, as well as donating a lot of money over many years. These false faiths teach things like getting to heaven by going to the weekend services, refraining from pork, or worshipping on Saturday. They claim those personal efforts will get you salvation through your own efforts, but God sees those organization’s prescribed works for what they are: each of those ill-advised efforts—to add to or circumvent salvation through Jesus alone—is like you tossing another filthy menstrual rags in front of God's holy throne. Advocating works to get yourself to heaven is like throwing a bloody rag in front of a holy, holy, holy God. And
it's not me saying that, God said it. Why is God giving us such a graphic
picture? "These 'righteous acts' are considered by God as repugnant
as a soiled feminine hygiene product." God is saying—Excuse me?!—my
son's blood was shed for you, yet you have the audacity to claim
you will somehow get to heaven through your own efforts. | image tagged in salvation, heaven, hell, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DO YOU KNOW THE SINS OF ALL CHRISTIANS HAVE BEEN OBLITERATED? This is so cool! Not only can Christians relax in total peace because God has cleansed us of all sin, but when God says He will no longer remember our sins, the Hebrew word means that Christian’s sins have been obliterated. Our sins have been eradicated out of existence. Just forgetting them was not enough for God, so any trace of our sins has been removed. There is nothing left of them!! With that in mind, in Philippians, Paul councils us Christians to look at our sins the way Paul does: "I forget what lies behind and run swiftly toward what's ahead.” What was ahead for Paul (and is for us) are rewards to lay at the feet of Jesus for helping build His
kingdom. Paul strove heavenward at the task Christ had for Him. The Greek word "forget" means "oblivion," so God is saying He obliterates any memory of our sins and Paul lets us know that means we are not to dwell, for even one moment, on past sins. This is absolutely awesome!! For Christians, not matter how horrible your sin might have been and whether it happened a year ago or one minute before now, that sin has been expunged, eliminated, exterminated, and annihilated from all memory. Why? That's what God has done for us because he loves us, and so that we can focus on helping others come to heaven with us, which means we must thank Him by moving forward to witness to others about God’s glorious love—and justice that will surely punish sinners who have not humbled themselves to accept the free pardon God is offering, which is given to
all those who will rely on the sacrifice Jesus made of Himself on the cross,
an act that has obliterated every sin of a Christian. | image tagged in sin, heaven, hell, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DO WE SEE DEMON POSSESSION TODAY? The Bible's Acts 16:16 talks about how Paul kicked a demon out of a possessed slave girl who earned money for her owners by supposedly telling fortunes: "Now it happened of us going to the place of prayer, a certain girl, having a spirit of Python, met us, who was bringing her masters much gain by fortune-telling." Unfortunately, that same kind of evil still happens today, and it’s interesting how our society downplays demon possession as if it doesn't occur now. But here in modern times, the affliction is widespread around our planet, and I think a lot of demon-possessed people either self-medicate, are put on medication to the point of being mute about their issue, or are even being put away in psych
wards after they’re diagnosed with psychological issues. Having visited psych wards to witness and pray for people over the past twenty-plus years, I can say that some aspect of the problem may be psychological, but there is a different spirit in those sorts of places: Many housed in psych wards are demonically possessed, even if our secular society refuses to admit it; instead, the poor people are given masking drugs that are not going to help their demon problem. The only answer to deliver them is Jesus Christ, who has authority to free people of all demonic spirits at the command of a Christian. Christ is what they need. But our modern mindset leads society to rule out demon possession, like it doesn't happen—even
though demons inhabiting non-Christians seems to be as
rampant today as it was in New Testament times. | image tagged in demon, jesus, bible, satan, god | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS ALL MAGIC BAD? The first five books of the Bible speak against witchcraft (magic, or sorcery), including passages about the Tower of Babel in Genesis, and when God uses parts of Deuteronomy and Leviticus to command that we stay away from the abomination of witchcraft. These warnings against the occult and its witchcraft (of every kind) are also shown throughout Scripture, even at the end where God god sounds like He is saying, "I'm telling you people—and you better pay attention to this—Do NOT get involved with witchcraft! Revelation 22:15 says, “Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts…” In all these passages, God had so many sins He could have focused on, but what made the list there at the beginning, throughout, and then
was even reiterated at the end? It was the abomination of witchcraft. God is displeased with it because the practice leads people straight to hell. Those who get involved with the occult don't get saved through Jesus Christ, so they will not make it through the gates to heaven. This is a serious issue and a satanic trap God is warning about. Practicing witchcraft is no way to live in this life and not how we reach eternity with God. I like what one guy said: "God is a God of miracles. Satan is a performer of magic.” All the devil has is magic tricks—witchcraft. Satan does have considerable power, but it's nothing compared to God. Relative to God, the amount of Satan’s power
is no more than a dust particle on the hair of a flea. And the devil’s power is even
counterfeit, being made up of the lies, trickery, and occult practices
like witchcraft. However, the devil has enough power to
dupe us humans into thinking it's something special, something
sort of similar to what God can do. But it's not at all godly
and instead leads us astray, ultimately ending up in hell. | image tagged in magic, witchcraft, disney, harry potter, bible, god | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS YOGA OK? Why in the world do we warn so much against yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, prophetic prayer, and other such practices; supposedly only meant to help us relax? It’s because their origin is the eastern religions and occultism. Their design is to get us into an "altered state of consciousness." When you do that to your mind and body, spirits tend to pop on the scene and they are not from God. Yet these Hindu and Buddhist practices, using occult techniques, are even being promoted in the Christian Church today. No matter how the methods and verbiage are repackaged, unfortunately these type of occult practices all have the same goal: to connect with spirits that are not from God.

The Bible warns against them, and you know them, as DEMONS.
