WHY SHOULD CHRISTIANS STUDY THE OCCULT, WITCHCRAFT, AND SATANISM? [1 of 2] So many times in the Bible, God tells us to eradicate the same sorts of occult practices glamorized by Hollywood, but most Christians ignore the subject, and even compound the problem by commenting on social media that we Christians don't need to learn about such evil. But that is advocating us burying our heads in the sand, giving aid to no one, and actually helping to facilitate demonic consequences for uniformed and unsuspecting men, women, and children. Warnings against occult activities like witchcraft are all over the Bible because those practices are abhorrent to God. The reality of where it leads—to demon connections and ultimately human sacrifice—should be disturbing and serious enough that it prompts we Christians to deal with it in a biblical way. Abortions not really human sacrifice. The babies are not being specifically sacrificed. It’s a horrendous act upon God, but it’s more of a murder of a child instead of child sacrifice.
