HOW DO REFORM AND CONSERVATIVE JUDAISM DIFFER FROM ORTHODOX? Reform and Conservative have been modernizing movements within Judaism, versions that have moved away from traditional Orthodox. The Conservative branch has not gotten as far as away from Orthodox as Reform, and the latter has embraced humanism and liberalism—like Liberal Christianity. Reform (liberal) Jews forego much of the Orthodox beliefs and practices, they meet in temples instead of synagogues, and they spiritualize Orthodox doctrines, like those about the “coming” Messiah that Jews are still looking for because they do not believe Jesus fulfilled that role. Reform generally maintains a more inclusive attitude about the world’s assorted beliefs—it’s basically “Come one, come all!” They have caved in and given up on doctrines that go against the modern culture, no longer caring about much of the truth from
God’s Word, and it is because the world’s new definition of “tolerance”
has taken priority for them. Today, tolerance means accepting
and even promoting the sinful and deviant practices of others;; it’s no longer “love the sinner but hate the sin.” Instead, “liberal tolerance” means there cannot be particular truths, so most everything is acceptable, including homosexuality, as well as the foundational occult practices of feminism. We in the Christian Church see that same attitude seeping in with Liberal Christianity—which is really Christianity in name only—so it is not Christianity. They deny the deity of God, His miracles, and the Virgin Birth of Jesus. Because these false churches are shiny on the outside, often meeting in large buildings with stained glass windows and other religious trappings, people think they must be Christian, but those places are empty on the inside, just unsound teachings with no guts—no substance. Reform Judaism and Liberal Christianity are both works-based systems that do not teach God’s biblical gospel
as the way to salvation through Jesus alone. Conservative Judaism
is a sort of intermediate level of the religion, a transitional version
that has evolved into something between the older Orthodox and
newer Reform. Conservative Judaism makes allowances for

[1 of 5] Of the Jewish religion’s three main branches that also include Reform and Conservative, Orthodox Judaism is the traditional practice that strictly follows the laws and ethics in the Talmud, or the Oral Law, which has been laid down by history’s Jewish leaders—rabbi’s—just men. So, Judaism is a system that focuses on following the traditions imposed by men, and not on the Word of God given to us in the Old and New Testaments. An Orthodox Jew generally adheres to the thirteen articles of faith and 613 mitzvahs (commandments). To be considered an Orthodox Jew, there are core practices that must be performed and acts to refrain from. The latter involve prohibitions against murder, idolatry, certain
sexual practices, and many, many, many, many, many other things. Those in this Orthodox system are also plagued by a similar mentality to Christians who think they are a bound for heaven because they “mostly” obey the Ten Commandments, or because they are at least better than another person of their choosing, maybe “granting themselves” eternity in heaven just because they haven't killed anyone. This is the same misconception as an Orthodox Jew who believes they can work their own way to heaven. Orthodox Jews face a mountain of needed works, just a few of which are refraining from activities that violate the Jewish Sabbath and holidays, performing the required circumcision of males,
and keeping dietary and family-purity laws, like only marrying

ARE JEWISH PEOPLE HEADED FOR HEAVEN? Followers of Judaism need to be saved through trust in Jesus, just like everyone else. Unfortunately, modern Judaism is another works-based religion, so it is not a path to salvation (heaven), which is a gift from the grace of God, meaning we do not work for it. Instead, we must humble ourselves enough to accept it. We can't earn it. Our sin means we are all disqualified, so we need Christ’s help. Romans 3:23 says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” There is nothing we can do, no ritual you or I can perform, no clothing we can wear, nor any other external trappings that will get us to heaven. We can't be saved by standing and sitting at the right time during religious services. Salvation
is a gift from God, so our Jewish brothers and sister need Jesus. Judaism is usually broken down into three broad divisions, or denominations: Orthodox, Reform, and Conservative. None emphasize a personal relationship with God, because Judaism is a religion of deeds, and not a standard creed like the Christian’s confession of faith in the saving grace of Jesus. Since Judaism is a works-based system—not salvation through Christ from the consequences of hell brought on by our sins—they are not saved from their sins. That’s because they are much more interested in living according to tradition, rather than focusing on a personal relationship with the Creator. Of course,
we see this same sort of mistake all over the world with many, many
manmade religions and cults that get hung up on man's tradition, rules,
and regulations, rather than humbling themselves to receive the
