IS BIBLICAL SPEAKING IN TONGUES SUPPOSED TO BE GIBBERISH? Gibberish is a false form of speaking in tongues, and it is just another phony teaching infiltrating the Christian Church today. Looking at this topic as it is portrayed in the Bible, to be a true gift from the Holy Spirit and not a
demonic connection, speaking in tongues must be a known language. There is also debate as to whether those gifts are even still functioning for Christians in our time. Either way, the Bible's Acts 2 talks about what happened when the tongues went forth in the early Church, and the Greek word used is "glossolalia," which means "languages." So, biblical
speaking in tongues was specific languages—not gibberish. The people
in Acts 2 heard the tongues in their own languages. | image tagged in holy spirit, demon, christian, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS THE "WORD OF FAITH" MOVEMENT JUST WESTERNIZED HINDUISM? [4 of 4] Here are a few examples of what Word of Faith preachers are saying that is just Hinduism—and certainly not biblical: Jesse Duplantis: "The very first thing on Jesus' agenda was to get rid of poverty.” Excuse me?! Jesus said His priority was to glorify God, destroy the works of the devil, and to save us from sin. Frederick Price: "The apostles were businessmen. They were rich men that had plenty of money… Only rich people could take off for three and a half years… That's the reason why I drive a Rolls Royce. I'm following Jesus’ steps.” But the Bible says, "In
their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories made up."; Creflo Dollar: "I'm telling you, Jesus wasn't poor, and… Jesus didn't have no rags on. He wore designer clothes, honey!” Robert Tilton: "The only time people were poor in the Bible is when they were under a curse... Being poor is a sin.” But the Bible says this about Jesus giving up everything to come to earth as a poor man: “Though Jesus was rich, yet for your sake he became poor…” Just like the Word of Faith preachers here in West, an Eastern group of religious leaders also live lavish lifestyles. They too teach those who send them money that the donators can also become wealthy
if they would only practice the right “force of faith” with their words.
That is exactly what Word of Faith preachers and Hindu gurus all claim,
and it is how the religious leaders from both camps live. | image tagged in hindu, jesus, god, bible, cult, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS THE "WORD OF FAITH" MOVEMENT JUST WESTERNIZED HINDUISM? [3 of 4] Unfortunately, most followers of the Word of Faith movement don't realize it is basically the practice of Hinduism. And it’s not just similar. The core beliefs are the same. The Word of Faith movement has taken Hindu teachings, slapped Christianese on them, and used those false teachings to defraud folks in the Christian Church. The Hindu bill of goods that these Word of Faith people are selling goes something like this: You can get anything you want if you have enough belief, speak the right words, use the force of faith, send the TV preacher money to get trinkets,
and repeat phrases over and over—but that is Hinduism! Hindus are
taught to use the "God force" by utilizing mantras (repetitive chanting)
to create their own reality. World of Faith leaders adopted
those Hindu practices, only changing the terminology. | image tagged in god, bible, hindu, false teachers, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS THE "WORD OF FAITH" MOVEMENT JUST WESTERNIZED HINDUISM? [2 of 4] Whether you know much about Word of Faith preachers or not, it is rampant in the Christian Church today. When you see them on Christian television, just know that the whole thing is demonic. They are not only ripping off well-meaning—but uninformed—folks in the Church, most often it is the poorest Christians that they take advantage of. The only difference between Eastern, Hindu gurus and their American counterparts in the Word of Faith movement is that the latter sprinkle Christianese on the Hindu sales pitch. Folks want to believe the claims of slick men or women on television who promises to alleviate their health issues and financial struggles. Instead, just like the gurus in India, these conmen that have invaded the Western Church are just
scamming people to grab their cash, and that includes the many, many
Word of Faith preachers in the Christian Church today. | image tagged in hindu, christian, false teachers, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

AGAINST WHAT DO WE TEST EVERY TRUTH-CLAIM? Scripture instructs us to test everything we are told to ensure that it is godly, that is not from Satan. How do we know something is from God? Because it is always true. God is always holy. That means He is without sin and never gets anything wrong. You may not like what He does or demands of you, but He never does anything wrong. Though you may not understand what He is doing, trust that He works all things together for our good, because He is good and does not lie. But Satan is the father of all lies. So, always compare God’s Word with whatever comes from any person’s mouth; if it doesn't jibe with God’s Word, toss out every part of it that is not from God! People today are not doing that, and Scripture tells us that it is because the little-“g”-god, Lucifer, is in our world blinding people’s minds, so they won't believe. How does he do that? What is his top tool? The devil gets men and women away from the one source of
truth—the Bible. Whatever is presented as truth must always
be compared to the Scriptures to see if it is true. | image tagged in bible, god, truth, jesus, holy, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
