DAY 38: HAVE YOU OR SOMEONE YOU LOVE BEEN
DUPED BY HEALTH AND WEALTH PREACHING? One such organization, the Church of God, claims Christ’s death on the cross—for God’s glory and our sins—provides complete physical healing for everyone. That is also part of the Charismatic movement that became the Word of Faith preachers. The latter claims that those with enough faith will have perfect health and become wealthy. Unfortunately, the people getting rich are the preachers requesting your donations to prove your level of faith; the greater the check you send them, the more faith you have. Yet, those requesting your money don’t even have the perfect
health they promise donors. While preaching perfect health and wealth is just
lying to grab people’s cash, it is true that God can heal. I’ve personally seen
and even experienced it, but that doesn't mean God always heals us. We see that in the Bible with the Apostle Paul who experienced serious illness. Did he not have enough faith? Maybe he wasn’t “sowing enough seeds” into a health and wealth preacher’s ministry. Is that why Paul was not in perfect health? And Philippians 2 talks about Epaphroditus, Paul’s co-worker for Christ who nearly “worked himself to death.” He obviously did not lack the faith to be healed. And Scripture says Paul’s spiritual son Timothy was often sick. Did Paul recommend to either of those two that they should have more faith to become as healthy as
they’d like? In fact, with Timothy’s medical problem, Paul told him to take
certain liquids that might help better than just water. Good thing Timothy
had the right instructions for life from God, just as all of us
can access every day in the Bible—no donation required! | image tagged in god, church, religion, charismatic | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DAY 31: HOW DOES HINDUISM COMPARE TO CHRISTIANITY? [4 of 4] Even with the many obvious core differences between Christianity and Hinduism’s works-based system, we often hear unresearched and false statements like: “All faiths and religions teach mostly the same stuff.” But that’s a lie! Christianity is absolutely unique and is the only
way to heaven. In John 4:16, Jesus said: “No one
comes to the Father except through Me.”; But still to this day, in his depravity, Satan has invented countless false paths that just confuse people away from Jesus. And the devil does so out of pure evil, wanting all he can dupe to join him in the Lake of Fire. Satan knows he’s lost; he was a doomed loser when Christ beat him on the cross. But the devil
teams up with humans who seek power and money. Together
they deceive people all the way to eternity in hell. The alternative
is to accept the free gift of salvation offered to us through
Jesus’s work on the cross. By just accepting that, we will be
spending eternity as a child of the One Supreme
Being, the almighty and eternal God. | image tagged in hindu, charismatic | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DAY 29: HOW DOES HINDUISM COMPARE
TO CHRISTIANITY? [2 of 4] Outside of completely free, biblical Christianity—which is a relationship with Christ and not a religion—the other faiths hold the afterlife over their followers’ heads to push them toward the organization’s goals and money collection. Around 600 BC the Hindu people revolted against the priests’ control, changing Hinduism to a more individual-focused faith with personal meditation, where adherents seek an altered state of consciousness that will allow them to connect with the
Hindu gods, as a means to supposedly escape reincarnation. But some still want a guru to tell them how to be more religious. Meditation was NOT invented as a way to reduce stress. That lie was created to suck an uninformed Western society into New Age practices (warmed-over Hinduism), which involves connecting to “spirits” that are really just the same old lying, murderous demons, disguising themselves as helpful entities so you will die while continuing to reject Jesus—and end
up in hell with those deceitful spirits. | image tagged in hinduism, charismatic | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT IS THE HARE KRISHNA BRANCH OF BUDDHISM ALL ABOUT? [2 of 4] The Krishna movement began as a reactionary response to dispassionate Buddhist Hinduism. Krishna followers participate in lavish public displays of their adoration and worship for Hindu deities. Similarly, the charismatic influence may have sprung up in the Christian Church because so many services have become somewhat boring and lifeless, often from hiring shepherds who don’t even believe what they're teaching. But our salvation through Christ is the most exciting development that has ever happened to mankind. God forgave all of our sins, so we are no longer headed for hell; instead, we get to spend eternity with God in heaven, ruling and reigning with Jesus, exploring the universe,
and forever learning more and more about the mind of God. I'm all for that! But there is so much deadness in a huge number of Christian Churches today because we’re not spending daily time in the Bible, which is how Christians become passionate for God's truth. This has caused people to get sucked into hyper-charismatic churches, where they are often led to connect with spirits that are not from God. While I agree that many Christian Churches today are fairly lifeless, those are not accurate representations of true biblical Christianity—they’re normally not very biblical. Either way though, two wrongs don't make a right, so jumping into
other harmful, unbiblical practices is not the answer. | image tagged in krishna, buddhism, hindu, god, bible, charismatic | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT IS THE HARE KRISHNA BRANCH OF BUDDHISM ALL ABOUT? [1 of 4] Hare Krishna is the extreme-charismatic subsect of Hinduism’s Buddhist branch, so it is all about the experience, which often includes physical actions like dancing and chanting. Followers do these things to get themselves into an altered state of consciousness, which helps them (and those of many world faiths) to connect with spirits—the same old lying demons. A similar sort of charismatic element exists within Islam, through the relatively small branch of Sufi Muslims. Sufi’s are also called “whirling dervishes,” because they spin around in skirts that rise up to form a circle around a person who can turn fast enough. That spinning is their form of
charismatic worship that they incorporate into their Islamic beliefs. And it’s all part of the same sorts of practices from Buddhism and Hinduism that are meant to get followers into an altered state of consciousness, an emptying of the mind that more easily allows visions and the ability to connect with what the Bible calls “familiar spirits.” Again, those spirits are deceiving, murderous demons—like their father, the devil. There are only a couple variations from Buddhist Hinduism for those involved with the Hare Krishna religion. Like Hinduism, Hare Krishna obviously allows most any type of worship and deity, because they too have over 330 million gods. However, Hare Krishna’s differ in the practice of their religion, publicly displaying their emotional devotion, while Hindus
are more prone to dispassionate expressions, just solitarily
sitting in some specific position while they meditate to alter
their consciousness and connect with demonic spirits. | image tagged in krishna, buddhism, hindu, god, sufi, charismatic | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
