[2 of 4] Outside of completely free, biblical Christianity—which is a relationship with Christ and not a religion—the other faiths hold the afterlife over their followers’ heads to push them toward the organization’s goals and money collection. Around 600 BC the Hindu people revolted against the priests’ control, changing Hinduism to a more individual-focused faith with personal meditation, where adherents seek an altered state of consciousness that will allow them to connect with the Hindu gods, as a means to supposedly escape reincarnation. But some still want a guru to tell them how to be more religious. Meditation was NOT invented as a way to reduce stress. That lie was created to suck an uninformed Western society into New Age practices (warmed-over Hinduism), which involves connecting to “spirits” that are really just the same old lying, murderous demons, disguising themselves as helpful entities so you will die while continuing to reject Jesus—and end up in hell with those deceitful spirits.
