DAY 60: CAN WE KNOW THE FUTURE? [7 of 7] World religions and cults have constantly added man’s teachings and otherwise rewritten, chopped, and spliced God’s Word. Here is more from the Bible: “Every word of God has proven to be true. He is a shield...Do not add to His words or He will reprimand you, and you will be found to be a liar.” (Proverbs 30:5–6) If we will only stick to God’s Word in the Bible, it will be a shield to protect us from man’s
harmful lies and false teachers ripping us off.
Here’s more from Revelation 22:18–19:; “I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.” So God’s message is this: Don’t add to or take away from Scripture; leave it alone
because I, God, have put my stamp of approval on it 2500 times.
Isn’t that good enough? Why do we have to keep going somewhere
else? Just like the Old Testament stories of the people groups
continually straying and coming back, only to stray again,
even today we are looking for some other ideas, theories,
or prophets to guide us. Why can’t we just get in the Bible
and enjoy it straight from the mind of God!? | image tagged in bible, future, predictions | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DAY 73: WHY DID GOD GIVE US TEN COMMANDMENTS? It’s because God is holy and we are not. The bad news is that the penalty for our unholy behavior is not merely death, but eternal death in hell. However, here’s the good news: If we only acknowledge this and accept Jesus Christ’s forgiveness, we can be saved. But here’s the cosmic dilemma: We don’t want to admit our unholiness, let alone call upon the name of the Lord! So, how is the one and only supernatural, multi-dimensional, infinite, and holy God going to communicate this problem to tiny, finite, and unholy human beings? Well, God uses an external teaching tool called the Ten Commandments, which are not merely a mode of behavior; they exist to show us our need of a Savior. It’s God’s ten-step testing
procedure designed to reveal His holiness and our sinfulness. The ten tests are these: We must have no other God or idols, not use God’s name in vain, not break the Sabbath, and not dishonor our parents. Also, we must not commit murder or adultery or steal, lie, or covet. Since no one but Jesus was—or is—able to pass all those tests, we need a Savior who is Jesus Christ. And if we are ever going to get our society back on track, we have to remember the purpose of the Ten Commandments. Why? Because no external law can change man’s internal heart. And this is what our world has totally forgotten! What we need is God, and He has been trying to remind us with the Ten Commandments.
The reason our nation is going to hell is because
we are telling God to do the same. How? By
trying to get rid of His Ten Commandments. | image tagged in god, bible, ten commandments | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DAY 58: CAN WE KNOW THE FUTURE? [5 of 7] All this Bible prophecy taking place in front of our eyes is better than Christmas! With all due respect, it’s even better than a wedding; although, my marriage is strong so don’t misconstrue what I’m saying. My point is this: In a healthy-engagement scenario, you would think the closer you get to the wedding day, the more exciting it gets, right? Now I know it’s also hectic, and it can get stressful before Jesus comes back too, but the overall feeling is one of joyous anticipation, right? Without giving away the day or hour, and using Bible prophecy, God is letting us know what will happen in advance, so we can be sure His book came from Him—period. It’s like this: when you were growing up, did
your mom tell you things more than once, or even more
than ten times? In fact, how many times did she say:; “I told you a million times...” And you were maybe thinking, “Yeah mom, you probably did because, man, here we go again...” Well, it’s the same with God: throughout the Bible, with precise predictions, (2000 of which have come true already), 2500 times He told us: THIS BOOK CAME FROM ME! So, why do we want to listen to anything else? God might be thinking: What more do I have to give you people? But again, with all due respect to the so-called shepherds in our Church today, if they keep Bible prophecy out of their messages, it’s no wonder 50% of their congregation doubts the Bible. If we’d only listen to the Bible, it would save us from a whole lot of trouble, which
includes those not saved being left behind to
go through the seven-year tribulation! | image tagged in future, prediction, bible | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
