Their behavior is horrifying. | As global warming causes permafrost to melt, dead bodies are exposed. And within some of those bodies are diseases that have been defeated in the rest of the world. Scientists have found everything from smallpox to the 1918 influenza & tried to revive them--to no avail. Bacteria & even viruses apparently can't survive being frozen that long; they are adapted to human body heat after all.
