I was looking at this back when I built the ver. ka, would've been 50 dollars if I got it back then and I got it for 30 at hobby | Just finished the Gundam barbataurus! Here are my thoughts on it; Starting with weapons, of course the main event is this badass bow! I've never seen a bow on ANY Gundam kit before, and this flexible transparent piece is also quite interesting. The bow can also separate into two short swords, but just remember these have a habit of rotating in the hand, so you'll have to deal with that while posing. Hopefully it won't be too difficult to fix this; As for other melee weapons, this has a katana, and the classic barbatos hammer. Moving onto articulation this can be quite limited in the legs. Also since this uses an IBO (iron blooded orphans) kit as a base, this will most likely loosen up over time. I tried to fix this using some of the double sided stickers that come with some action bases. Not sure if I completely prevented the issue but when/if it does loosen up I have a way to fix it. The review I saw recommended a clear top coat on each joint; This also doesn't have any alternate widespread open hands, so you're stuck with the default holding ones. This also has some parts that are made to be used with the backpack. The longer ones are meant to extend it so it can reach whatever is being stored on the back, but I couldn't quite figure out how to use them. At least the claw pieces are nice. While I'm on the topic of the backpack, there are supposedly some backpack adapters to make it compatible with other kits. I didn't find it but I'll double check the runners before I throw them away. You can also attach the claws to the hip armor so you aren't just stuck with this awkward back connection; Now for extra parts, the most notable ones are these alternate shoulders and arms, there was even enough armor to fully cover one of the arms; If you detach the back half of the barbataurus and attach the extra arms to it you can make this abomination; As for my final thoughts on it, it looks GREAT, and it being a centaur just makes it that much more unique. For articulation I am still worried about it loosening up, but I have a way to fix it. And for weapons, a shield would've been nice but not having a shield is worth it for something OTHER than the stereotypical Gundam loadout (beam sabers, shield, beam rifle) 8/10 | image tagged in blank white template | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Not sure what to put here :/ | As I said in my previous post, here's my review of the command space type; Starting with looks, it's not that bad, just cheap. Unlike the blitz this hasn't really made me that interested in the high grade due to how basic it looks. For articulation it's about the same as the blitz since it has the same frame, but the side hip armor has a habit of popping out if you move the leg wrong. Only difference between the backpacks is that one has more thrusters. That's the one I have equipped; For weapons, this has an entire second set INCLUDING another backpack. And you can technically have both shields on the arm at the same time but one won't be on all the way; Here's something I forgot to mention in my previous review. The reason these are called g frames is because the armor comes on frames with no articulation whatsoever, and you have to put that armor on a frame that actually has articulation, which luckily comes in the box. After you finish transferring all of the parts the original frame can be used as a basic action base. And I REALLY mean it when I say basic. For my final thoughts, it was a bit basic for my taste. 4.5/10. Hopefully when I get my hands on some g witch kits those are WAY better than this | image tagged in blank white template | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Not the best kit for my first build after the move, but also not the worst. I'm sure I'll find something better soon. | Just finished the RG zeta Gundam! Here are my thoughts on it. To start off, this thing looks GREAT! If it didn't, I wouldn't have chosen it when I went to hobby lobby a week ago (yes, this has been sitting around unbuilt for a week.) But it is not without issues. I'll get to those soon. The shield can be a bit difficult to pose, but you get used to it after a little while messing around. As for the beam sabers, they're pretty average. Just a blade on a handle. They can be difficult to put into the hands so you're better off just wrapping the fingers around them than actually attaching them since they can articulate. There is also a small piece you can attach here, but in my experience it just blocks the shield from extending. The beam sabers can also be stored in these small compartments on the sides of the hip armor, but I feel like if I leave them in there I'll forget about them and lose them. I'll just keep them in a plastic bag with the rest of the weapons/accessories; As for the beam rifle, it actually has a feature I've never seen before: a muzzle flash! Although I'm not sure if that's what it's called, it's a nice effect and helps it look like it's actually shooting rather than just pointing at a target menacingly. It's also NOT compatible with the beam sabers, I honestly thought they were just shorter blades at first. Other than the effect part the beam rifle isn't that special. Now for the transformation... Ok. To sum it up shortly: this looks great but is an absolute pain in the ass. There's also a few parts you can swap for the landing gear but I already transformed this back into the Gundam form before I could try it out, so here's a picture from the instructions. And yes, this has a custom base adapter. Quick weapon I forgot to mention. This blue part attaches to the arm and a compartment opens. I believe these are grenade launchers since I watched a review of the ver. ka of this Gundam. Also almost none of the instructions are translated so I'm going off of memory; As for articulation it's... Weird. The range of motion is pretty good but it's complicated to actually utilize it due to the transformation mechanism interfering; <- it also has a 1/144 scale pilot figure. I honestly thought this was an MG exclusive thing, but of course for MG it's 1/100. Idk maybe it's just been a while since I've built a real grade kit. This is a decent kit, 7.5/10. Would've liked it better if the transformation wasn't such a pain, and if it interfered with articulation less. Also since this is a 2012 model kit, it has a full inner frame built with pre made joints. Because of how these joints work, they will likely loosen up over time.
