nijrob right now you are being the bigot. I'm sorry man I agree with you on some of the things, but now you're devaluing someone else, just because you don't agree with them. Please read over your last few statements and analyze exactly what you're saying. I was too raised in a poor white family, most of my ancestors moved to the U.S. between 1920 and 1950. I have no recorded Anglo-Saxon ancestors, yet I am still considered "white." Which in the U.S. actually debilitates the lower class. My mother and father worked hard 40 or more hours a week to raise me and my siblings in non-circumstantial conditions. They never received any help based on race alone. I live in California in a city that is 80% Hispanic. In school I was teased and even bullied for being "white." I don't hold it against the Hispanic races, most of my friends are Mexican. There's just shitty people out there. That's what you have to realize. It's not "white people's" fault that there is segregation in our country it's stupid people's fault.

So you admit it exists....ok....what's the problem?

Here is what I took out of his story (convenient and out of context like when many whites judge minorities):

I stole from fast food restaurants.
I applied for Welfare.
I received food stamps.
Eventually I got my GED (FOR FREE) then went to college.
I was allowed to apply for Grants or Scholarships that were reserved for "WHITE" students.

See? Doesn't seem as bad now.

The way you read his story is referred to as selective listening. You chose what you wanted to hear and filled in the rest with your own opinions. As for the Italian scholarships how does that benefit all "white" people? There are scholarships and grants for minorities based absently on heritage. And I think this is the point that "white people" want to make when they're not considered for these benefits.

Will you please name me one grant and/or scholarship reserved for "white" people or even any one of the "white' races?

My point is the programs are there to succeed, which I fully said were utilized. The Grants and Scholarships were open to EVERYONE. There were no generalized scholarships for anyone but blacks back then. Blacks had access to ALL but no one but blacks had access to theirs. People aren't complaining about blacks using the benefits to succeed they don't like when using the benefits becomes the career and whine if they can't have more. LMAO! Father died when I was 16. Been on my own since I was 18. I have two degrees. Paid my own student loans. I have owned my own businesses and make about 150k a year. Last year I did about $220k. I'm not old but not young. Old enough to know better.
