I See A Lot of Downvotes Lately

The way I do it is, I upvote all the memes I think are good. If I don't like the meme, I just pass it by. I've only downvoted a handful of memes, usually just the ones that don't follow the rules, but seem to still get featured.

I upvote any meme that makes me laugh, I very seldom downvote either, like most I only downvote memes or comments that are offensive or just someone being a DICK...I don't always comment tho'...mostly cuz I can't think of a good comment at the time and then sometimes forget to come back...what can I say, I'm a stoner...LOL I don't even downvote blatant attacks on ME...fortunately it seems that others do that for me...Love my peeps...I upvoted this meme.

Usually when I'm on here at the top of each hour (especially late at night when I and some certain Downvote Fairy are up) I'm in the "Latest" section giving memes at least one upvote before the D.F. comes along and you'll see nothing but red lines. Earlier this morning I must have given out 100+ Upvotes. Even on the memes I don't like (1exception, Kayne West,won't help anyone with his name or face on it regardless if making fun of him or in favor, I won't touch it) But I think very meme should be allowed the time to be featured without being knocked back to "Submitted".

Me too. I don't like downcourt in general and can only think of a handful I've thought deserved it.

I downvote the haters.. the onea that come straight out on a Christian themed meme and make a hateful comment. ... and you know the comments I'm referring to about God. I ignore.. or upvote. I even upvote respectful comments that may differ from my own opinion. . To at least acknowledge their point. There are some polite agnostics etc. It's ok to have a different opinion.. when posting a meme on a public forum, we can expect different opinions, .. but no need to be a hater and downvote comments / memes that differ from ones own ideologies.

Yeah, I've been noticing that too.

I think, from what I've observed, there are those that just down vote or upvote without even looking at the memes. They just downvote everything.

I'm not sure what the reason is, but it seems like lately the "Latest" page has had more downvotes.

Yea, that's what I've noticed.

This is just random and has no reasoning behind it. Just a random act of Meme!

Half the time I just click the latest bookmark on my browser and skip from page. I'll go through the first pages upvoting ones I like, commenting when the mood takes me, and ignoring those I don't get or like. I have down voted, but mostly the ones that are in a diff language or hateful. I don't like to down vote because to someone else it may he hilarious or mean something.

Plus I've had about three or four go from featured to submitted in less then five minutes because there are two or three dv as soon as it goes active. and those are one I think are okay, when I have random

I think the trolls are downvoting ones they see as competition.

I've noticed the opposite. When I look through the latest page, I find most memes with one or two upvotes amd no downvotes.

I see that at times. I actually didn't made this meme not expecting it to do anything and instead it makes front page. Go figure.

Yes, true, but I was mainly talking aboutthe amount of downvotes on the "latest" portion of this site. There were a dozen memes that had 2-5 downvotes and no upvotes. And some of them were pretty good memes.

I agree with yall. Sorry, but the truth in my opinion is that this site has slowly been turning to shit as the trolls are taking over and only ao many people (like yall cuz yall rock) are genourous with upvotes, yet most people downvote for whatever reason they can. Like if they disagree with this comment.
