Nothing good comes from trying to make history over making a strong, healthy nation. Being said, no president ever knocked on my door and said, "sup dawg". So, I don't reckon it will matter to me who ascends to power. I am so far removed from the ramifications of who sits on the throne and of such low station as to be anything more than invisible to them. Other than reading the heated opinion debates of others, it is all but irrelevant to my life. But it IS a terrible reason upon which to base one's vote.

I vote for a president who supports my beliefs and who I think will be the best fit to run this country. I wouldn't care if they were deaf, blind, a double amputee, ADHD, you name it. I just want a president that WORKS, for god's sake. And lord knows the day that will happen, if ever, with our society being so screwed up...
