200 years vs. 400 years

Read the book that has been denounced more than any other book by those who have never read it and maybe your answer will change

John 10:16. Jesus was resurrected and told that he had to bring forth other sheep which are not of this fold. (Of this land by his speaking, of the Bible by way of understanding the scripture) He was 33 when he died, and since we know the years are counted based on Christ's birth, we know that it was in 33 AD that he was crucified and killed. 3 Nephi 11 takes place in 34 AD and, get this: Jesus descends down to them and lets them know He is the Christ. That is NOT a coincidence. Wanted con man? Have you forgotten, or better yet, decided to not educate yourself on the fact that Smith was forced to relocate with his followers numerous times due to persecution and DEATH THREATS? This happened until 1843 where he was once again, persecuted for his beliefs and thrown into Carthage Jail in Carthage, Illinois (I know it's different today, but that's besides the point) where a mob overran it and he was martyred at age 38. Following this, Brigham Young lead the remaining followers out into what was at the time, the Utah Territory, where they finally able to reside without fear of constant persecution.
I take it you also forgot that he was READING THE BIBLE and failing to understand why people understood scripture the way they did and came upon James 1:5. He then went out into the wilderness to pray and was met with the presence of God The Father and His Son Jesus Christ, at just 14 years old. He was then in a period of being spiritually tested and prepared for 3 years before he was finally led to the Golden Tablets by the Angel Moroni after 4 YEARS of preparation for them. He then spent the next 2 years TRANSLATING the plates from their original Reformed Egyptian text (Mormon 9:32 tells of the language). If you want to denounce it, READ IT. Compare it to events that it mentions that we see in the Bible (IE Moses delivering the people out of Egypt as seen in 2 Nephi 3:10). Also, every chapter is timestamped in the Book of Mormon, so that should help a lot. And, for the record, The Book of Mormon testifies of these Lost Tribes of Israel. Read it. With an open mind. You will walk away from it a different person.

Stop watching propoganda. The Banned Mormon cartoon got to you, didn't it? Moroni is the son of Mormon. READ IT. Nobody has ever seen the Golden Plates? Perhaps that's because Moroni intentionally hid them from the people for generations because they were intended to be hidden from them for that long. (Moroni 10:2) There are NO coincidences when it comes to God. And when they were seen, and Smith took them to be translated, he had 3 Witnesses with testimonies that were NEVER renounced, even on their deathbeds. And he had another set of 8 Witnesses with testimonies. READ THESE. And here's furtherproof that the Lost Tribes DID, in fact, lead to the Americas. (Mosiah 1:6) The reason the translation bears a resemblance is because not only is it written in an ancient language, but also because it was written in that time. Remember, both the Old and New Testament were translated from Greek and Hebrew. The fact you can believe in a talking donkey, a sea being parted, a giant being slain by a stone from a sling, a blind man seeing, and healing a paralyzed man, yet you draw the line at Golden Plates, is insane. And need I remind you that the Bible uses broken people. Moses was a murderer. David was an adulterous polygamist. Just to name a couple. As I said before, No book has been denounced more by those who haven't read it than The Book of Mormon. You're not alone. And not all things that Smith said are accepted as canon in the LDS Church.
