The idea that the husband and the wife have different leadership roles within the home is very normal, only within the last century has anyone contested that. There's a huge difference between saying men and women perform different roles in marriages and encouraging the beating women. No verse in the Bible permits, condones, or encourages the mistreatment of wives. Bonus observation: Ephesians tells wives to submit to their husbands, while it tells children to obey their parents. That is a distinction, if Paul meant that women should be completely subject to their husband's every order and punishment like children are, it would have also said obey, not submit. You clearly don't know your Bible well, and I recommend reading it instead of straw manning it. You might learn something, you might even receive eternal life.
