6 No Democrat or Republican will ever "move away from corporate lobbying". The first reason is that corporations have the same right to petition the government for a redress of grievances as you and I do. But the second reason is that regardless of party politicians love money. They will even change their vote on bills if there is enough money involved. Not all of them but a whole lot. Most Democrats but some Republicans then know how Congress will vote depending on how many congressmen have been bought. They can then use that information and make investments. Insider trading. We would go to prison but for Congress it is just another day for them. Not all of Congress does that but it is in both parties and Democrats seem the worst.

I have a solution that I haven't heard anywhere. Woodrow Wilson signed legislation that would limit the number of members of the House of Representatives to 435 members. Part of the reason is because they were running out of room in the Capitol building.

The Constitution stipulates that there be 1 representative for every 30,000 people. Let's overturn that law that limits to 435. Representatives can stay in their districts and when a bill goes to the floor it can be done electronically. Their votes can be checked by the representative who make the vote, to make sure that Democrats did not alter the vote. Those votes can be made available to everyone in the House of Representatives.

There are about 3.5 million people in America. I just asked AI what is the number of voting age Americans and that is 269,800,000. Divide that by 30,000 and you get around 8,993 members of the House of Representatives. That is going to make it much costlier for corporations to buy representatives. It is not a perfect solution and it will most likely slow it down a little or make it so only the wealthiest businesses can afford to do the graft. That would mean that the House would always tilt to the left because the CEO's of the richest businesses are all Democrats.

Honestly that would be a great idea, it would also eliminate gerrymandering as you can't really split a town of 30,000 in two without raising suspicions of your intentions. The system as it is right now is corrupt, and it needs fixing.

I would love to see districts drawn up in a square. If that was detrimental to one candidate or candidates party then it sucks the be them. I hate it when a politicians, regardless of politics, draws up boundaries that will best insure his relection.

I am also for term limits. The founding fathers envisioned moral people serving in office who would just naturally serve a term or two and then go home. They also believed the people would say, no, you've been here long enough, go home. But neither has happened. The longer a person serves the more corrupt they become.

This whole thing with the SAVE Act. 80% of all Americans are in favor of it. However, all of the Democrats and just under a majority of Republicans in the House are against it. It passed the House but the Senate is expected to reject it.

Most of the people, Republicans and Democrats, want fair and honest elections. A voter ID card is just one method to help cut out corruption. But the Republicans and Democrat congressmen and women apparently rely on cheating to win elections.

I think it is time that both parties unite in never reelecting the same person more than once. And everyone who is currently serving who voted to reject the SAVE Act should be voted it out this coming election.

Clearly the American people are NOT being represented by their Representatives

About 20 years ago (maybe less) I heard about a group that was trying to create a Constitutional Convention of States. Their goal was to pass an amendment to the Constitution that would set term limits on all congressmen and women in the Senate and House. They need signatures from all 50 governors to get this amendment passed.

This process is in the Constitution and it is legal. Congress does not have to be involved in creating an amendment to the Constitution. Congress by themselves will never ever pass anything that limits their term in office or their pay or prevent them from doing whatever they want. So it has to come from outside of Congress to get this amendment passed.

Unfortunately, there are far too many governors who have ambition to one day serve in Congress so they also are not interested in term limits for Congress.

The system is broken and all the people can do about it is unite. But the media and everyone else just keeps pushing the two parties farther and farther apart.

They play the "If you don't vote for X then you'll get stuck with Y" game. Most of the time X = Y. This time they used TDS.

7 Rather than doing that, why not do what the World Economic Forum is working to get done. They want everyone forced into what they call "smart" or "15 minute" cities. Those cities are carved up into sections where people are forced to live and work. Everything that pertains to their life is only a 15 minute drive or walk away. They have to get special permission to leave their sector and must report when they leave and come back. These cities will be equipped cameras everywhere that will monitor everyone's daily activity and make sure no one leaves their section without permission.

The Democrats and a small handful of evil Republicans are pushing us to that right now.

BTW they have already started creating the foundations for these cities all over the world and in America. And don't forget how John Kerry assured the WEF that Biden was fully committed to the WEF right after Biden was installed as president.

8 What rights do Trans and LGBTQ+ do not have? Do you want privileges for them or rights that are missing? I know of no provision in the Constitution that makes exceptions for trans and LGBT+ people. They have all of the same rights that every straight white male Christians do. So what are you asking for?

Let me explain what a right is. A right is a freedom that does not infringe on someone else's freedom. With that in mind, what rights are they missing.

9 Well then we must stop creating all lithium batteries right now. Nothing is more devastating to the planet than mines that look for lithium. It is not easy to find and the demand is through the roof. We also need to end wind and solar farms right now. They take up millions of acres of land, only for about 10% of our electrical demands.

We need to start building nuclear energy plants again. They take up much less room than a wind or solar farm. They produce very little waste and technology has vastly improved since Jane Fonda's "China Syndrome" propaganda movie.

We need to restore public lands back to the states. I live in Utah. The federal government owns more than 50% of our land. In Nevada they own 80%. Have you seen Nevada? If they strip mined the entire state it would be an improvement. Do not even think about touching Utah. We're the prettiest state in the US. Well... they can have our shale. That's not much to look at and it produces a lot of oil.

We have to produce our own oil until someone produces a realistic clean alternative. Perhaps hydrogen.

7. I understand the concern with creating those 15 minute cities with surveillance such as that, but would it seriously hurt to invest more in expanding existing rail systems and creating new ones? We have tens of thousands of miles of rail road tracks across this country and the means to create a lot more. It's so simple, a high speed rail system is right there for the taking and we as a country just refuse it. I understand that a car is assumed to be the ultimate symbol of personal freedom but with predatory loans and the all around shittyness of the car market, it might be for the best to move away from cars unless they're absolutely needed

I'll use the example of the Kansas Trans Driver's License debacle from earlier this year: Overnight, every single trans person was informed that their right to drive was revoked until their license was changed to reflect their birth gender. I understand the medical applications of this being needed as the sex you are can change the care you are given by medical response teams however that seemed to be just an excuse to revoke those rights. If the state government had just started by saying that they need to know someones birth gender for medical applications, that whole thing could have been avoided.

9. Lithium is horrible, I agree with you on that. That's honestly why I don't like electric cars(Hydrogen is the way to go). I will also agree that it is a waste to cover fields with solar panels, we should cover parking lots instead(seriously this would solve so many problems). 7 Let the free market decide that instead of the government. I say that because the government no longer serves the people. They will start a project expecting it to go into cost overruns. They don't even care if it ever gets finished because as long as that project is going they collect money and can look good in front of a camera.

However, if people put their own money into new rail, must like Musk did with the space program, then it will cost much, much, much less, it will be better quality and get build in less time. Even if they put a toll to use that road, it will be much less than the tax increase that always comes with these projects.

Don't be fooled by the Democrats when they tell you they only want to tax the rich. I looked at Biden's Inflation Reduction Act. It had a tax increase on everyone except for people who earned between $10,000 and $20,000 per year. I first wondered why that tax bracket was exempt. Then it dawned on me. It was so they could say that they did not increase taxes on the poor. It was all about optics."

When ever the Republicans propose a tax cut the Democrats issue an automatic prewritten response that the tax cut is only for the rich. Here is how the figure that. All income taxes or capital gains taxes (which is what the rich usually pay) is based on a percentage. If I earned $10,000 per year and you earned $1,000,000 per year and the cut was 3% (it changes based on income but fir this example it still works if the cut across the board is 3%).

3% of 10,000 is $300. 3% of 1,000,000 is $30,000. Well $30,000 is much more money than $300, therefore the tax cut is only for the rich because the poor only got $300.

It only makes things worse with our progressive income tax scam. The rich who pay income tax pay a higher percentage than the poor. That would mean that a 3% across the board tax cut would make the rich pay much less than just $30,000. They would get $500,000 if they were taxed at 50% on a million dollars.

The Democrats forced the progressive taxation scam on us and they take full advantage of it. This means any tax cut, even if it was a progressive tax cut, meaning the rich got less of a tax cut than the poor, could still be spun as a tax cut for the rich.

Taxation is theft. We were not taxed on income until 1913 when Woodrow Wilson forced that on us.

This nation was not built around the idea of the government being a burden on the citizens but that changed and it is wrong.

5. Why didn't a single Democrat ever say a single word about the Epstein files while Biden was president. Biden could have done it all on his own. Well, maybe not Biden because he was senile but the people who pulled his puppet strings could have. They didn't release the files back then because it would have made Bill Clinton look bad, just like what we have released has done.

More important, they could have finally dug up all the dirt they needed to shut Trump down for good. They could have just released that much of the files but they didn't. Why? Well thousands upon thousands of pages have been released and all it did was prove that Trump had a falling out with Epstein and didn't like him. They also show that Trump and Epstein were not even all that close to begin with. Epstein got invited to a lot of Trump galas and such but that isn't a big deal because Epstein was very popular with all of the politicians and wealth businessmen. None of that means they were clients of Epstein but it doesn't rule it out either.

I have no idea why they didn't finish releasing everything they have on Epstein. Perhaps there are too many powerful people in Washington DC or in the business elites who have no problem killing to keep their names out of the public eye. The other possibility is that there is nothing else in the remaining files that says anything different than what we already have. Who knows.

They tried impeaching Trump twice on false pretenses. The last impeachment was based on Pelosi orchestrating a riot and calling it an insurrection in an attempt to use the 14th Amendment against Trump. That amendment punished the South from having any kind of representation in the government after the Civil War. It said that anyone who held office and supported the insurrection (which meant the fought for the Confederacy) was permanently barred from holding any public office. The Southern states had to wait a generation before they could elect a Southerner to hold office.

Pelosi wanted an insurrection but knew she would not get anything she could call an insurrection unless she got the Capitol Police to open fire with flash grenades and rubber bullets on a crowd of peaceful protestors. FBI agents were in the crowd to direct the panicking people into the Capitol Building. And that was all Pelosi needed to call it an insurrection. It would have been the first insurrection where the participants had no type of weaponry at all. Not a single person was charged with illegal possession of a firearm. BTW this is not a conspiracy theory. I have watched the Capitol Building security cameras and footage taken from the Capitol Police body cameras plus there were thousands of people with their cellphones recording everything. I saw the image of a guy whose bloody cheek had a hole in it where a rubber bullet had pierced it.

They tried throwing every allegation they could think of and nothing stuck because he wasn't guilty of any of them. One judge changed a misdemeanor charge to a felony claiming extenuating circumstances which he never explained. And this was on a charge that had past its statute of limitations. He was convicted of that felony but the district court overturned that conviction and reprimanded the judge that convicted him.

Then they tried taking Trump's name off of the ballot in a few states. Then they tried assassinating Trump twice. Now the left has invented a wild conspiracy theory that exonerates the shooters, who were Democrats, of being Democrats.

Since he has been elected there was an other attempt that got shutdown before Trump was ever in danger.

If the left was going to go through all of that to stop Trump, they very easily could have just released anything they could find on Trump in the Epstein files.

However moving in the complete opposite way where there is zero privatized healthcare would also be greatly beneficial. The Keynesian economists believe that war is good for the economy but they are wrong. Just because there was a brief surge in the economy when the US began production of war equipment just prior and during WWII means nothing. The fact that that blip in the Great Depression was caused by an artificial influx of cash from the government to private businesses combined with the fact that a lot of the unemployed in America were killed in Europe and the South Pacific by the war does not mean that war is good for the economy. WWII did not end the Great Depression. It just softened it a little and only temporary.

Gold also has utilitarian value because it can be used to produce more wealth or value. Gold is an excellent conductor of electricity.

Diamonds also have intrinsic and utilitarian wealth. Diamonds can be made into shiny pretty jewelry but it is also used to cut through objects that most other cutting devices can make a scratch on.

Wealth is a value of an item. An apple has wealth to a hungry man but no value to a man who has already eaten.

Wealth can be created and it is done in the free exchange of goods and/or services. If you make widgets and I don't have any widgets but I want one then your widget has intrinsic value to me because I want it. If I need your widget so that I can complete a task or series of task then your widget has utilitarian value.

If I need or want your widget then I can either steal it or trade for it. If I choose the moral route then I trade for it. Let's say that you really need to build a time machine out of your Delorean and you will never reach 88 mph unless you have my flux capacitor. So you trade your widget for my flux capacitor. We have both engaged in capitalism or free market economics. Ya know. The think that every socialists declares as the most evil thing on the planet and it must be destroyed at all costs. That is the capitalism they hate. Other than a bunch of lies created by Marx I have no clue why a free exchange of value for value is evil.

Now were is what absolutely destroys wealth every time. Governments. The more authoritarian the more wealth it destroys. Socialism and all of its variations (ie. nazism, communism and fascism) are all wealth destroyers. Even for the ruling elite who pushed socialism on the people. Eventually there is no wealth being created and the ruling elite's lives begin to suffer. Typically they are executed or have to escape the country before they run out of money.

I am telling you this because this all ties into your number 2 about billionaires not being taxed enough.

Stop trying to steal other people's money. Earn your own. Yes, it is much harder and you may never earn as much as Musk or Bezos or you could earn more.

3 Just pay attention to the rest of the world who has gone to government run healthcare.

For example. Several years ago I had a friend who had immigrated to America from England. He was a little older than me but he and his wife became good friends with me an my wife.

One day he went to his doctor for a regular check up. His doctor recognized a heart problem that if not taken care of immediately he would have died. The check up was on a Friday and Monday he was in the hospital having open heart surgery. He survived and lived several years longer. He has since passed away. But he called his sister who is still living in England and told her what happened. Her jaw hit the floor how soon the doctors were able to treat him. If this had happened in England he would have been put on a waiting list for about a year and the only doctors capable of performing this kind of surgery were in London. He was from northern England near the Scottish border.

The other example is in the country to our north. Their government run healthcare system is so over taxed that, like England, you have to wait a year or more for treatment. Canada, first came up with the idea that if your illness was terminal than you could either wait or they would help you kill yourself. Remember when the right said that Obamacare would have death panels? Canada does and it is not just for terminal patients, it is pretty much for everyone. BTW Obama's death panels were passed in another bill so he could say that the Affordable Healthcare Act does not contain death panels.

If you want the best healthcare and the lowest cost then the government needs to release it's grip on the healthcare industry completely. However, if you want the worst healthcare at the most expensive cost then let the government run it completely.

Obamacare was just a teaser. The (non)Affordable Healthcare Act increased costs to the individual and cut coverage. A lot of people lost their doctors. I was lucky that I didn't lose my doctor but a lot of other people did. I have a friend who is diabetic. My wife is also diabetic so I am not sure about my friend other than she lives in another state. But her insulin costs went up to $1,000 per month under Obamacare. It went up for my wife but not insanely like my friend.
