That's right, ever since the upheaval in Libya with the Arab Spring, slavery sprung up there.

Prior to that Russia was the epicenter of the world slave trade, mainly trafficking in Russian women and those from former Soviet countries. The Russian slave trade had a recent uptick with the war in Ukraine. All those missing women and girls? Well there's a reason why their bodies have never been never found.

Also, look up how many slaves there are in the United States of America right now today.

Except for the Border States and parts of Confederate States that the Union had occupied during the war. "Designated" has a meaning you know.

Correct, no slaves were freed by Emancipation Proclamation. It was unenforceable, as Lincoln was aware and intended to be. It was toothless, just a thumb up the nose at the Confederacy.

They did allow runaway slaves to remain free... if they joined up with the Union Army on the spot, but that was it.

You are aware that you can look this up yourself as the Emancipation Proclamation is a tad bit more than a four-line snippet on a meme, yes?

Designated. States. Slaves. within. designated states. were. freed.

Non-designated states include the Border States and Confederate territory that the Union States captured & occupied. They were allowed to keep their slaves. That's the Emancipation Proclamation. Just what do you think I was referring to? Planting tips for azaleas in a Martha Stewart article?

So now that just doesn’t matter apparently? Like you act like no slaves were freed. It doesnt matter if ALL of them weren’t freed at the same time. It was still a BIG step in right direction for America to be slave free. You act like just only because some were it doesnt matter. It does.
