I own one aviation book where the writers meant to type "Boeing" but instead typed "Boing".

I've also read a book about Michael Jordan where the author intended to type "dunks" but typed "drunks" instead.

Since you've read ten Stephen King books, have you read "Carrie" or "On Writing"?

Um, smart is an old euphanism for "hurt"....welcome to literature, population, you lol

To be fair to them, I’ve only encountered “smart” meaning “hurt/sting” in American writing. Perhaps they lived elsewhere. I do, but I still know what it means. Perhaps they don’t read much/watch American movies/tv???
