Unfortunately the worker more often than not doesn't because there aren't other employers that pay a livable wage and employers a lot of the time refuse to hire anyone who doesn't have years of experience and because of that, one can't quit their job.

Sure people like Morgan Freeman grew up poor in Memphis, TN but that was the past, today you won't get a job just by having a pulse, in fact you aren't likely to get a job even if you have a college degree and you'll be lucky to get a even a minimum wage job at McDonald's. I don't support unfettered illegal immigration, also I think the reason why so many people from Latin America is because liberal politicians are selling them on the idea that the USA is the "promised land" but in reality you end up struggling in poverty with high rent and struggling to find a job because employers refuse to hire anyone who doesn't have years of experience. Another thing why illegal immigrants are taking jobs is really the employers fault for illegal immigrants are easier to exploit for cheap labor.
