The president indirectly controls oil prices by implementing rules and regulations on oil companies. The Biden administration basically made it almost impossible for the oil companies to function, hence why the prices for gas rose to nearly $5 a gallon average nationwide.

Hence why Biden had to deplete the critical oil reserves and beg the Saudis to increase production... what an idiot...

The gas prices under Trump instantly went from over $4 a gallon to under $3 a gallon. They have risen somewhat since the Iran became a target of Israel...uh, I mean, the United States. Wars tend to raise the prices of gas.
