Immigrant? He was born in Israel, he traveled throughout Israel preaching the Good News.

History is hard.

Same can be said about Egypt because the Roman Empire had both conquered at the time.

You know he spent much of his childhood as a refugee in Egypt, right?

You do know Egypt was a part of the Roman Empire and not an independent country at the point, right?

He and his family fled to Egypt to escape King Herod

Yes 2years. Wasn’t a refugee, they moved out of the country and stayed in Egypt. For safety reasons not economic advantages, they didn’t apply for welfare or sucked off the Egyptians hospitality.

They had to move to another place because they were in danger if they stayed. That's what refugee means.

But you are trying to equate Moses and the Israelites to modern day illegal immigrants.
That’s just patently absurd. 95% of today’s illegals aren’t “refugees”, they’re opportunists.

israel wasn't a country when he was alive. He lived in the Roman Empire, specifically Galilee/Judaea

Plus it was Judea, not Israel. Israel had been ended by the Assyrians in 722 BC.

Israel had disappeared from history over 700 years prior to Jesus.

Nope the 10 northern kingdoms were destroyed by the Assyrians, later Judea was destroyed by the Babylons.

Babylon king was replaced by Cyrus. He made a proclamation that the Judea could return. In which they did. Rome eventually took control of Israel.
Still a Jewish state, finally along comes Christ. Seventy Two years later Rome destroyed and scattered the jews until modern day.

The rest is history.

So what I said then?

722 BC was around 700 years prior to Jesus. That's when the Kingdom of Israel disappeared after it was destroyed by the Assyrians. Without a trace.

Rome ended its province of Judea in 135 AD

I take it you missed my previous comment:
