Data not shown other than word salad coming out of Trump's mouth. What is shown is that prices are higher especially for food with "Trump's tariff policy also played a role in the rise of food prices, some analysts said. They pointed especially to 50% tariffs on steel and aluminum, which have pushed up can and other packaging costs."

"B-B-But tariffs don't work!" After all the Left's Marxist college professors told them so.

Yes, they work to tax the consumers in the United States. It might slow sales down in the other countries, but for goods where we depend on those products and don't produce ourselves to any extent like coffee, cars, or electronics, it is a tax transferred from the importer and store on to the consumer.

If you are still paying high prices check with your state government.

Coffee still $22 for a $12 can in Florida. Should I blame Ronnie?

Ok. What was the cost of a pound 2 years ago?

While specific 2024 figures vary, the average cost for a pound of coffee in the U.S. rose significantly, with data suggesting it went from around $6.16 in 2023 to about $6.32 in 2024 (a general average) and saw retail ground coffee hit roughly $9.14 by September 2025

So, now what? Tell me its raining!!!

I was talking about this a couple weeks ago with someone, that I couldn't believe how expensive it was, seeing instant coffee on sale for $12 and change. She said I should have gotten it, that that was a good price. Nowadays, anyways. I cut back on my coffee in recent years, but when I used to buy, it was on sale around the $5 mark.

I have been using coffee as MAGA USES GAS PRICES.

OP keeps posting about this, about how gas for his car and eggs have gone down as examples of how Trump has brought prices down. Just those two things.

Those Halloween mini-sized chocolates were on sale at Walgreens for two for $10. Just a couple years ago they used to be on sale two for $5.

The why are even leftist media outlets reluctantly admitting that the national economy is finally taking off again after the economic train wreck that was Bidenomics?

It's cool that you have data that the rest of us including financial analysts don't.

It would go against the narrative and there is mid terms coming up. It is all that matters to the leftist. Gain power again.

This is true.

If your prices go up because of the tariffs, you can either lower your prices, or you can lose market share to those who respond with lower prices. And watch us Buy American more than ever.
