You may not be aware but back in May of 2025, the Supreme Court ruled that when an agent of the law knowingly puts themselves in danger, they are not allowed to claim self-defense in the face of imminent threat. They even use the specific example of a cop stepping in front of a parked car. They knowingly placed themselves in danger. They cannot claim self-defense.

Also, DHS policy says that agents are not to place themselves in front of cars- moving or parked- because it's so dangerous.

I can completely see how it can be seen as she was trying to run over him, but you can see that shes just trying to get away. The officer not only noticed this, but didn't move from where he was as she was trying to back up, clearly planning on speeding off. This could have ended in a chase, but because he refused to move and put himself in danger on purpose she ran into him.

Cars don't turn very far most of the time if you're backing out in a hurry, so there's a possibility she didn't mean to run into him, but there's also a possibility that she did, as you are saying. She more than likely went into panic mode, a normal and instinctual thing that we as humans do when threatened, and wasn't intentionally trying to run into him. Though, I can see the viewpoint of her doing it on purpose.
