Islamists can do basically anything evil in the name of Allah. So he's playing on the gullibility of the population to put in communism, once he does that he's consolidated power and can essentially flip a switch and Sharia law takes effect.

Add more green spaces
Create more jobs
Support youth & schools
Modernize the city

Yeah, he's not doing any of that. He's promising that, but his actual plans will have the opposite effect. Look at where his idea's were tried before, and realize it just leads to ruin.

He isn't doing any of those things, nor can he.

Buses don't run free. They have to be paid for. Daycare has to be paid for. The money has to come from somewhere, and it's not going to come from rich people because they'd sooner just move out like the rest of them have been from New York since Trump eliminated the TARP tax loopholes during his first term.

Same with freezing rents, not going to happen.
And building new apartments? They're all going to build new apartments. New apartment buildings are being built all the time, and their affordable rents are affordable for rich folks and trust fund Hipsters from Ohio.
