Racism was dead in the USA until Obama brought it back

Translation: racism had gone underground, but when Obama became president, all the racist conservatives came crawling back to the surface because they couldn't stand having a black president

An ignorant comment, Obama would have lost if white people had not voted for him. Granted he disappointed them, but they did vote for him.

Indeed I do.

After years of hearing it here and asking what, one of them who had repeated it a bit, former member Timber1972, finally referred to the time that Obama said that if he had a son he would have looked like Trayvon Martin. That's it. The only Conservative on this site that knew anything outside of a script and could type something beyond a half sentence ad hominem. And that's it. Obama said that if he had a son he may very well have looked like Trayvon Martin.

That took us back 50 years progress and rekindling the race wars.
Obama. Son. Trayvon Martin. Racial division. Carnage. The calamity.

Obama owns the rise in racism not because of what he said publicly, we all say stupid things but his polices helped racism thrive and grow. His specialty was ignoring the problem and using defection to make it worse. Trayvon is a good example, his story could have been about drugs in the inner city, lack of opportunity, bad family dynamics and a host of other things. Chipping away at the root causes could have made a difference. Instead, Obama ran with the evil white police and worse he had a following that bought into it, hook line and sinker. All the defund the police, fight ICE etc we see today had there start with Obama. Obama's legacy will be as a rase baiter.

Yeah, um, no. Havng a father from Kenya is not a policy he said which...

oh, wait, it was.

Skittles are not drugs, although I used to eat that stuff by the handful out of the big bag, so I reckon the crave is akin to one?

Defund the Police is 2020. Obama wasn't in office then.
Fight ICE is a fake distraction psyops ploy to expose, exhaust, and put away potential rebels before the big stuff hits the fans in a year or two. Deporter-in-Chief Obama still isn't President now.

You missed the point, Obama started all the drama, what came next would never had happened except for Obama racist policies.

No, he did not. And you haven't cited a single thing to even pretend to prove such a bogus assertion.

Reactionaries going ballistic over his election is not his fault. This isn't the 19th Century South. If they got angry, then that's on them. They have no one to blame but themselves and whatever lack of parenting and personal growth beyond puberty that led to their arrested development and well earned sense of self-loathing.

Once again you are wrong, the south put Obama in office, white and blacks, they numbers needed prove it. Zimmerman, Trayvon, Michael Brown, the rise of BLM, Obama was right in the middle of it all. By playing to the far left he impowered a movement that would wreak havoc on race relations in the US. All the current drama is a direct result of his failures and picking sides. he owns it all, even the lawfare, just us system and the current hate law enforcement protect criminals' movements. Obama wanted a legacy and he got one, he will always be seen as a failure.

Flipping Fla and NC was no small task and you glossed over Obama role in the spike in racism, but I remember well when all the branches of government were pretending a massive group of dangerous white supremists not only existed but were an actual theat. Which lead to attacks on culture, history, even statues. All the while ignoring the problems caused by violent Muslims and illegals.

Now we are at a point where neither side trusts the other, the legacy media or so-called experts. There is little chance with the shutdown games that things will improve. So blame Trump, white people and anyone else you want for your failures, and I will wait patiently hoping the next generation is smarter than ours was."

🔳 Flipping 2 just Southern States is not the South putting Obama in office.

Obama's role in the spike in racism was already addressed: Upon his inauguration the Alt Right was born as a reactionary movement against him because so-called Black. So you're absolutely correct - if Obama didn't take that 'White' man's job, none of this we see would have happened.

That includes Trump, who was a repeating election cycle joke that everybody dismissed as merely an excuse to promote his show, the Celebrity Apprentice. And if it wasn't for him and the Birtherism thing, he would have faded out as a joke.

Heck, he was still considered a joke even after he had the primaries pretty much sewn up mid-2016. And I don't mean just among voters, but even Republicans in office and, believe it or not, even Fox News, all the way down to Greg Gutfeld. And this was after The Five began sour and dour uber-Republican Greg Gutfeld, not the goofy clown darling classic Greg Gutfeld that we (I mean those of us who actually watched Red Eye, not today's posers pretending that they once did) used to love.

▶️ "I remember well when all the branches of government were pretending a massive group of dangerous white supremists not only existed but were an actual theat."

🔳 Well that's interesting, because no one else does. Because it never happened. Obama & Co didn't downplay it, they flat out ignored it.

▶️ "Which lead to attacks on culture, history, even statues."

🔳 That was Trump's term, not Obama's.

You blame White people for your difficulties? It's been over 150 years. Isn't it time to start taking some responsibility for yourself?

Lol, pretending the south is racist is one of your most insane posts. I drive through the southern states a few times a year, mixed couples everywhere, everyone waves, best manors anywhere, hands down.

Yeah, of course.

Hey, people often give me a wink, lean towards my table and say, "Hey check out my Nazi tattoos but don't let my Black girlfriend see because I used to be a Democrat" when I'm sitting at the diner too on a fairly regular basis.
0 ups, 1mo
It tells me everything that I need to know about you that you are so full of hate that you can't see that people can change. Keep pretending that everyone white is the problem and never look in a mirror, you may not like the person you see.

The South. Not racist.
Good grief.

Hey, is this where you tell that heartwarming story of that guy in a diner covered in Nazi tattoos who winks at you and leans forward and tells you don't tell his Black girlfriend that those Nazi tattoos are Nazi tattoos because officially he's not Nazi anymore ever since he's been with her and therefore the South is not racist? South. Not racist. Because somebody has Nazi tattoos. And a Black girlfriend.
1 up, 1mo
People change he was a racist but then again, he was a democrat at the time.

This is still going on?

I used to say tenacity is key, but this is why I don't anymore.
The story is not just fabricated, but poorly so doesn't even cover it.

Question, as 2020 returnee, what happened to yous? How is it that a bunch from the 'mgflip Golden Era that used to be cool and creative reappeared after an absence averaging about 3 years so changed and angry? I've actually checked these accounts multiple times to make sure that they simply weren't hacked, that's how radically different they all are. Granted, it's a small group, but it is a group nevertheless, and the consistency in their alteration of mood is rather curious.

Why do you hate 'White' people so much that you feel so compelled to keep bringing it up?
It's a bit to tryhard.

And no, nobody believed your story the first time, nor will they believe it now.

It's pretty farfetched and quite a bit cringe to boot. Nazi tattoos, 'Black' girlfriend, leans towards you, and tells you his whole life story down to his political party history, as if that was relevant to anything or anybody's business.

"I got Nazi tats because I was Democrat" said no one ever.
Not even Hegseth.
0 ups, 1mo
Listen to you, so high and mighty that you think I would fabricate a story just to impress you. Get over yourself. I couldn't careless, what you believe. The story is true, it always was. Also, I never mentioned nazi tats, I wouldn't know one if I saw one. The white supremist tattoos might be similar, I don't know, you are apparently the expert and have the magically ability to see them from where you are sitting.

I have already explained a few times now and in different ways how racist and sad it is that you cannot accept that people change. Your hate is all on you, you feed it. I don't read or comment on your memes, because our brief interactions have shown me that you are here only to cause drama not to learn, not to consider evidence, or to consider the opinion of others. Your method changes nothing and will never help you grow as a person.

Here is a great idea, just ignore everything I ever say, never respond to any of my memes, my comments or better yet just pretend that I stopped posting at all. I will never miss you, that is how important you are to me. I am not saying that as an insult, simply as a learning tool so you know how you appear to others, you add nothing of value, that is sad but true.

Do not leave IMGFLIP though, someone eventually might come along and reach you, it just will not be me.

Yeah, the South sure did. Lots.

Zimmerman and Trayvon were part of the same case.
It took how many weeks of pressure for Obama to finally address the situation?

With Michael Brown, he told protesters to protest peacefully and to accept the Grand Jury's decision to not make any indictments.

He was not in the middle of either case, and what he did was pretty minimal and consisted of advising people to keep things peaceful.

It doesn't take much hard looking to see the contrast between Obama and what is occurring now as well as from 2017 to 2020.

Tell that to Pinterest where I just realized last week that I (and a friend there) was shadowbanned for insulting the feelz of Afrocentrists who said I was a colonial albino cave dwelling Neanderthal trying to whitewash history, which, according to them was sub-Saharan African all the way from Adam and Eve to Abraham lincoln. Yes, Abraham Lincoln was a sub-Saharan African according to them. Abraham Lincoln. sub-Saharan.
