In that situation, the aliens would just say well then there's something we don't understand and we should look into it further.

No they wouldn't lmao

They sure would. We are talking about aliens who have the technology to come from distant galaxies, so of course they would be science minded and try to better understand something if they don't know what it means.

In that kind of advanced technology based civilization - science & facts are going to reign supreme. They would look at the DNA structure of humans. Which for 99.991 percent of the population is binary. XX or XY. The 0.009 percent representing genetic anomaly of XXY - which isn't a prevalent thing in Sarah McBride.

They would have a quick analysis of the DNA & determine the individual is confused -- unless they happened to study the ultra rare XXY embedded human.

We aren't even that kind of advanced society & we already use the method of DNA to look at the past when we uncover bodies that have been buried for centuries - to determine the sex of remains. We find XX or XY in the remains our archeologists find & that scientists review. Why? Because the science is clear & concise & shows the overwhelming majority of humanity falls into XX XY binary coding for DNA.

The ones who was be confused will be the aliens, as they won't have XX and XY sex chromosomes.

Interesting theory - but an incredibly overwhelming percentage of observable non microscopic life follows Male/Female patterns of procreation. aliens in an advanced technology based society would likely NOT be microscopic life - they would likely be carbon based life forms. Ergo - by our observance of non microscopic life we have access to - the odds are they would also follow male/female patterns

There are many reptiles that sex is determined by the temperature the eggs develop in.

Crocodilians being one group, there's a theory that that's what did the dinosaurs in. As the Deccan Traps volcanic eruptions in India continued for hundreds of thousands of years, global temperature started to rise to the point then it affected the sexual development of dinosaurs, eventually rendering them extinct as eventually only one sex was hatching.

That's cool - I didn't know that about reptiles!

Turns out it's only crocodilians, turtles, and some lizards.

Or those particular ones then. Still pretty cool

Plus aliens are renowned for their probing capabilities.
It's not like they're checking for whether the subject wears briefs or boxers.

In probing - they would be placing probes into different holes of the human body. Nose, ears, butt, p**is or va**na, mouth & they would definitely visibly see Male & Female reproductive organs.

In that advanced of a society - they would likely have an understanding of microscopic technologies - far superior to our own microscopic technologies.

If we can classify XX & XY chromosomes - it is safe to assume they would also be able to identify those characteristics. They would also likely have X Ray technologies - which would have them pondering why this biological male - has silicone based additions to their chest to make them appear to be a female when they aren't...

They may not even care, taking implants to be not much different from haircuts or clothing styles.

If they were making categorizations based on male or female, then that would be dependent on biological structures and functions.
