I wouldn't recommend this. But, if you must, try to catch it from the side, so you only destroy your teeth and your cheeks, rather than your neck and spine. You can live without your teeth. You cannot live without your throat.

This could be done as a magic trick in the way you describe it, by catching it from the side. The shooter has to fire blanks, and the catcher has to hide a bullet behind their tongue. If the catcher gets the bullet in the right place at the right time, that would be amazing.

It would be pretty amazing, but there is just one problem. Bullets, particularly the projectile that actually leaves the barrel, even when fresh, is not something you want in your mouth for an extended period of time, because as it turns out, lead and copper are both quite poisonous.
