There's a rumor I heard several years ago that John Lennon was becoming conservative towards the end. And he was supporting Reagan. I hope it's true. If it is true and that guy didn't kill him, then maybe he would have rewritten the lyrics to "Imagine". The commies don't deserve a song that beautiful. Just like they don't deserve California.

John was always a lite conservative, that's why he and Paul worked so well together. too bad modern politics can't find common grounds.

There is a reason for the political divide and it is more than just the media creating it to sell newspapers. In order for Marxism to gain a foot hold there must be a divide, the oppressed and the oppressor. In Marx's writing the divide was business owners vs employees. Which is odd seeing that Marx never worked a day in his life and had no clue how businesses work.

But since Marx his followers have expanded that to be rich vs poor. And more recently it is now white vs anyone who is not white. It is this divide that stirs up the "oppressed" to revolt against the "oppressors". The problem is there are no oppressed and no oppressors in the US. It is all a myth that the Marxists are perpetuating to foment revolution.
