Proof That With Age Comes Wisdom

If you have a favorable view of Communism, chances are you will not make 35, unless you move to a country without Communism. Just ask the immigrants fleeing Communist countries.

I can't imagine the delusion level required to continuously push the incredibly insane notion that "real" communism has never been tried. They are brainwashed to believe that there are those, presumably all on the left, that can become a benevolent emperor Palestine. Utopian societies are not possible with humans in charge. Apparently, there will even be disgruntled people during the millennial reign of Jesus Christ, and that's a great leader vs. flawed humans.

In reality the United States was historically the first closest thing to a utopia the world has ever seen with its blending of a Constitutional Republic with a solid foundation of quasi-capitalism and the promotions of individual freedoms. But inevitably the 'give me that' crowd has got to piss all over everything . . . and did.

Truth! George Washington, and maybe Abe Lincoln might have pulled it off for a while, or at least until some flim flam artist got to working in their blind sides. Inevitably, just as you said, the power hungry slide in for a money grab and the great experiment is driven off the rails.

With everything we know today if you're a liberal you have no heart or brain. That wasn't true back when Winston Churchill said this.
