I'm not quite sure what you were trying to say at the end, but it seems like you're contradicting yourself. The point of the exercise was to help empathize with others, not convince people that being straight is a phase.

Green (1987)- This is about gender identity, not sexual orientation. This has nothing to do with "gay being a phase".

Singh, Bradley, & Zucker (2021)- Take a guess: gender identity, not sexual orientation.

Ristori & Steensma (2016)- Is this finally something about sexual orientation? Nope. Just another 'study' about gender identity.

University of Groningen (2024) and German Insurance Data Study (2024)- There are NO official studies from either. I'm guessing you did a quick Google search and copied and pasted the first thing you found. Both are non-existent.

What did we learn? All of the sources you sent had nothing to do with sexual orientation, and the 'research' done on gender identity is very poorly recorded, biased, and unequivalently false.

In the future, I would suggest reading the 'studies' you provided before sending them.

That was part of what I said, you implied you wanted studies on that.
There's not a lot of studies on homosexual desistance into adulthood, but most gender dysphoria studies give "similar rates" but don't separate the numbers out.
In other words many studies were probably done and then were scrapped or buried because they didn't like the results.

I've noticed that you're using a lot of vague words and percentages. "60% to 90%", "most". You don't have evidence to support your claims, so you're just making up numbers atp.

If you're just going to yell, "trust me bro, the studies were done, but I have no proof since they didn't like the results.", don't even make a claim in the first place.
