so, it's okay to be wrong. I know in MAGA land, being wrong is a sign of weakness and you can never appear to be weak.
But it's okay to be wrong. It really is.
If he'd said Alabama then later on had a press release to correct himself and refer everyone to the official forecasting, or in a follow up conference made a point of referring everyone to the official forecasting to get the most recent/up to date information. The whole thing would have been lost in the tide of history.
But he didn't do that.
Instead, like a toddler, he busted out a map and a marker so he could look right in the most ridiculous way possible. Not even a bigger, wider circle, but a little half a hemisphere circle that just covered Alabama.
It is often mind-boggling to me that y'all can't acknowledge his obvious lies. I don't mean the ones like "I've got 200 countries lined up to make deals over the tariffs right now" when there's only a 193 countries in the world and he put tariffs on uninhabited islands. I mean the ones like the map. Big obvious stupid lies that he's telling just so he can look like he was right but in the stupidest way possible that show he knows he was wrong but doesn't want to admit it.
Because here you are defending him with, "what if the winds had shifted, then what?!?"
If you wonder why we say you're in a cult? It's stuff like that. This is why we say you're in a cult.
