Is English your second language?  If it is, you can be used as a general plural pronoun. It doesn't mean the reader is the subject of the 'you'. It's anyone.

We got Mexican-Americans who voted for Trump. We got Arab-Americans who voted for Trump because Kamala wouldn't offer Hamas nukes or something bonkers like that. And now they're posting videos on YouTube about how shocked they are that, um, they're getting exactly what they voted for. Tell me, what are those people going to do, say say "nay" are the popularity vote? 



tbf, 'they' did that one little outrageous thing on January 6th and went home in time for mommy to nuke their evening Hot Pockets. And then that was the end of that.
