The-Country-that-cannot-named has by far the largest foreign lobby of any country in the US. As someone who has gotten me multiple timers simply for saying the name of that country while you get to say as negatively as you will of others, you, of all on this site, know that all too exceedingly well.
Until Oct 7th, anyways. Then it turned out an unexpected number of members of the Trumper persuasion were more sympathetic to the plight of Palestinians than they were to the aforementioned, and the glaring bias in censorship wasn't gonna soar as easily anymore without looking too ridiculously absurd, especially since it intruded on the speech of Alt Righties. Although, of course, allowing it also allowed for a heightened response from those cheering the protected Country-that-cannot-be-named, so there might have been a tactical reason for easing up on those restrictions as well.
