Elon's DOGE isn't trying to cut funding to programs that are functioning in an honest way. The whole point of the repeated line "waste, fraud and abuse" you hear in the media all of the time is EXACTLY THAT!! These shell companies pretending to provide "AID" or that are running programs to meddle in the cultures of other countries are fraudulent money laundering schemes. For example: An LGBTQ play in the middle east or Africa doesn't require millions of dollars to operate.
Space X, despite it's failures and successes is running a legitimate space program which Has been developing spy satellites for the National Reconnaissance Office.
Maybe $8 million per day sounds like a lot of money to you but this is a relatively standard amount of funding for a space program. In 2023 NASA received $25.4 billion from our government and that's only about 0.4% of our governments TOTAL spending budget. Hope that helps put things into perspective. I know how you short sighted activists types view things from a very narrow lens.
